 The octagonal Yumedono, or Hall of Dreams, is one of Horyuji Temple's most impressive buildings. The scholar-priest Gyoshin Sozu commissioned its construction in 739 as a monument to Shotoku Taishi. The building was constructed on the site of the prince's private palace, where he lived until his death in 622.

Ginkaku-ji, officially named Jishō-ji, is a Zen temple in the Sakyo ward of Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the constructions that represents the Higashiyama Culture of the Muromachi period. 

 Seiryuzan Zuigan-ji is a Rinzai Zen Buddhist temple in located in the town of Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Belonging to the Myōshin-ji-branch of Rinzai Zen, it was founded in 828 during the Heian period by Jikaku Daishi. 

 A kondō is the centerpiece of an ancient Buddhist temple's garan in Japan. The origin of the name is uncertain, but it may derive from the perceived preciousness of its content, or from the fact that the interior was lined with gold. This is the name used by the oldest temples in the country.

 Ishiyama-dera Ta-hoh-toh is a pagoda located in the city of Otsu, Shiga Prefecture on the island of Honshu in central Japan. The building is an important element of the temple complex called Ishiyama-dera, which was erected around 750 AD and, according to the legend, it was erected on the initiative of a Buddhist monk named Ryoben. 

 Senso-ji (actually: Kinryu-zan Senso-ji) is a Japanese Buddhist temple in the Asakusa district of Tokyo on the island of Honshu. The construction of this facility was completed around 630 AD, which makes Senso-ji the oldest temple in the capital of the Land of the Rising Sun!

The model is painted in Acrylics and the water is made from Deluexe Materials "Solid Water" and "Making Waves" products. The diorama material and boats are from stock.
