WW2 German Sentry

Here is  a WW2 German Night time sentry standing in an upturned animal feed tub. It is based on a photograph from the winter of 1943/1944 of a sentry wearing a German Army Wachmantel coat on the Russian east front armed with a captured Soviet rifle and pausing for a pipe smoke break.
3D Designed model  1/16th scale.

    Private, Warburtons Regiment

This is a 120mm resin kit by my hobby business, Foxwood Figures, of a Private, Warburtons Regiment (later 45th Foot) in Nova Scotia, Canada, 1747

Loyalist Militia in the American War of Independence - WIP

Loyalist Militia in the American War of Independence.

It's been a while since Terry submitted pictures for the model club online sites but, following Andy T's admission of an error with his aircraft kit, he thought that he should also own up to a mistake with the latest figure that he has been working on. It is actually based on hi son who lives in Canada and is active there in the re-enactment hobby. This is based on photos taken of him at an event a few months ago as a Loyalist Militia in the American War of Independence.

Terry has been temporarily modelling in his conservatory of late and usually takes great care to cover things up from the sunshine...... The hot sunshine...... The hot sunshine that warps thin resin parts - like the barrel of his figure's musket that he left in the sun for a week or so! It has not only warped the musket itself but has lifted the musket out of the supporting hand. Applying heat and careful pressure should reset it and he can then finish off this figure.

We look forward to seeing the finished results
