Airfix 1/35th scale British army Daimler Ferret Mk2 scout car in Belfast in 1975 built out of the box, painted with Tamiya, Humbrol, Vallejo and Life Colour acrylics and weathered with Humbrol Tamiya and Flory products. It's set on a Fields of Glory base with Flightpath white metal commander and Fusilier figures.
Tamiya 1/35th scale Chieftain tank of the 5th Royal Tank Regiment in the 1970's. Kit built out of the box, Humbrol rattle-can dark green then detail painting in Vallejo, AK and Life Colour acrylics with weathering products from Humbrol, Tamiya and Flory. Base is an old cheese board with Army Painter cork rocks and Scale Scene grass tufts.
Tamiya 1/48th scale Churchill 'Crocodile' flame thrower tank towing its armoured trailer loaded with jellified petrol and compressed nitrogen propellant cylinders; 79th Armoured Division, North West Germany, spring 1945. Built out of the box and brush-painted with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics.
Tamiya 1/48th scale Daimler Dingo MkII scout car of the 5th Guards Armoured Brigade in Normandy in June 1944. Built out of the box but with added stowage from Blu-tac. The base is a 50p Ikea photo frame with AK acrylic ground work; all painted with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics.
Here's the Tamiya 1/48th scale British army Austin K2Y 2-ton ambulance, built and finished straight out of the box as a present day restored vehicle to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D Day and the brave and unstinting work of the Royal Army Medical Corps during those tumultuous days.
An Airfix Starter Set 1/43rd scale (O Gauge if you're a railway modeller) Series 1 Land Rover LWB pickup with truck cab; built out of the box but in non-standard colours.
